History of Aisti

Aisti is a family firm, founded by Riikka Timgren and Sigitas Cizinauskas and opened on St. Valentines Day 14 February 2005. It is located in Vantaa, a city just next to Helsinki (10 km to the Helsinki centre), near the motorway ring surrounding the whole capital area (Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa). Vantaa airport is about 9 km away from the clinic.

The word “Aisti” in Finnish means “sense”. The name therefore, reflects the clinics’ initial orientation - animal neurology. For the three first years since its foundation Aisti has been specializing in animal neurology, physiotherapy and acupuncture. Since 2009 Aisti is providing non-stop and complete veterinary services in small animals.
