Motto of Aisti

Through proper diagnosis to efficient therapy

Dear referral vets and animal owners,

Aisti has been started in 2005 as a first clinic in Finland fully specialized to animal neurology. The number of the neurological patients treated in Aisti has been showing a steady growth and reached 900 neurological patients during year 2007. We are glad to inform that since March 2008 Aisti is expanding the services. We are happy to welcome two new veterinarians, Mikael Morelius and Jelena Kosareva to our team. Mikael will start the orthopedical section and Jelena will take care of polyclinics and internal medicine patients.

Therefore since March 2008 Aisti is able to offer both the specialist advice in animal neurology, orthopedics (surgery), physiotherapy and acupuncture as well as general small animal health care including preventive medicine (vaccinations), dental care, castrations and home visits. We believe that the combination of both primary (polyclinics) and specialist care will provide the most complete service to the clients.

The specialist clinics for the referral patients will continue as till now: all the referred patients will be send back to the sending veterinarian and the local veterinarian will be informed immediately about the findings. We would like to thank all the 220 referral veterinarians who have referred neurological patients to Aisti in year 2007. We are thankful for your confidence in Aisti and hope to be able to provide even better service in the future.
